Only Kapone...

Born and raised in Pasadena, California, Kapone grew up around music. Kapone was influenced by his step father, Bobby 'bZo!' Cavaness, who is a producer, songwriter and arranger who's background includes touring with the Sylvers, working directly under Stevie Wonder, and producing for Gladys Knight. At age 7, Kapone was first introduced to Hip-Hop when visiting a cousin's house, where BET's Rap City was playing West Coast Classics. Instantly struck by songs such as 'California Love' by 2Pac & Dr. Dre, 'Who Am I' by Snoop Dogg, and 'Let Me Ride' by Dr. Dre, he was hooked. In early 2011, Kapone released his first work as an artist, Same Gang Vol. 1, which was a compilation of songs he produced, rapped and featured on over the previous two years. At the present, Kapone has dropped an album called Tha Release for free digital download, and even more recently, a deluxe edition of the album in both hard copy and digital download formats. Kapone is currently working on music videos for his singles 'Get Money, 'Find A Way', 'They Don't Know' and 'I Don't Wanna Go'. Recently, Kapone got a co-sign from one of Real Song's top engineer's, Mario Luccy, who also help mix Tha Release. With shows lining up and production credits on other artists albums piling up, rap's future is looking promising!
